General English courses are for adults who want to work in a small group with a maximum of 5 students to improve speaking and listening ability in English. A small group with only 5 students means you can practise English conversation naturally and participate fully in every activity.
What to expect:
- discuss a wide range of topics about contemporary life and society
- develop your general English vocabulary so you can express yourself precisely and confidently in a variety of situations
- listen to different types of media
- read various articles so you can extend your knowledge of Scottish and British culture
- review common grammar problems and extend grammar knowledge
- improve pronunciation
Course profile:
- 15 or 20 hours per week General English in a small group with a maximum of 5 students
- One afternoon excursion per week to a place of cultural interest = 3 extra hours of spoken English and listening practice
- From beginner to advanced level (A1 – C2)
- Starts every Monday
- Minimum age 18
- Average age of group 25 – 55+ years
