Homestay accommodation in Edinburgh

ECS Scotland recommends staying in a local home as the best way to ensure students make the most of their time practising English language skills and getting to know the way of life and culture of Scotland and Britain.

All our homestays are within 45 minutes (often less time) door-to-door of the school either on foot or including one bus ride. All hosts live close to well connected bus routes with our school.

Homestay accommodation can be arranged:
• at standard or superior/executive level
• with carefully selected, friendly and hospitable hosts
• in conveniently located and comfortable homes
• including bed and breakfast and evening meals, or self-catering.

Fees per week 2012

Executive homestay Private bedroom, guest only bathroom, breakfast every morning and 6 evening meals per week	£260 per week
Executive B&B homestay Private bedroom, guest only bathroom and breakfast every morning	£190 per week
Standard homestay Private bedroom, shared bathroom with hosts, breakfast every morning and 6 evening meals per week	£170 per week
Standard B&B homestay Private bedroom, shared bathroom with hosts and breakfast every morning	£125 per week
Standard Self-Catering homestay Private bedroom and shared bathroom with hosts	£100 per week

Homestay accommodation is available from the Sunday afternoon before a course starts until the Saturday after a course finishes. Availability of extra nights is not guaranteed but may be possible outside the peak season (June - September). Please ask us at the time of booking.
