ECS Scotland has recently relocated to 17 Young Street, a narrow street which runs off Charlotte Square, parallel between Queen Street and George Street, right in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town. Our English language school is only a few minutes walk from Princes Street, Princes Street Gardens, Lothian Road, St. Andrews Square and Waverley Station. Numerous buses from all parts of the town stop within easy reach of the school. The area is full of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
The 18th century building has been renovated and converted to provide a calm, comfortable and quiet learning environment. Many of the original features are maintained in the building.
Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland. The Old and New Town areas, the sea and hills outside the city combine to give Edinburgh a unique character. Home of the Scottish Parliament, festivals, concerts and exhibitions - Edinburgh is a vibrant cosmopolitan city, a perfect place to learn English.
Scotland is a small and welcoming English-speaking country. It has beautiful scenery and a long and colourful history of its own, in addition to a distinctive culture and traditions. Scottish people are known all over the world for their warmth and hospitality.
As well as providing a further language learning opportunity, our weekly excursions allow students to experience the unique culture and natural beauty of Scotland.
