Medical English Course

Course Type: Group Tuition Plus, One-to-One

Our Medical English courses combine working in a small group to develop General English speaking and listening skills in the morning.  In the afternoon your 1-to-1 classes will focus on individual needs and specific Medical English language:

• improving general and social English language skills
• developing specific vocabulary and context for medical English
• using English for negotiating, meetings and telephoning
• giving presentations in English
• raising awareness of intercultural issues and ‘international English’

Medical English courses are 20, 25 or 30 hours per week = 15 hours in a small General English group + 5, 10 or 15 hours of one-to-one tuition.

You will be emailed a 'Needs Analysis' form to complete before the start of your course.  During your first 1-to-1 lesson you and your teacher will put together a study plan for your course.  We encourage you to be active in the preparation and design of your course.  

All courses include a weekly excursion.
