当校について
ECSスコットランド校は、1995年にジェーン·マッキンレイとイアン·マクフェイルによりエディンバラに設立された、ブリティッシュ·カウンシル公認の独立英語トレーニングセンターです。
校長ジェーンが学術面と当校の素晴らしい講師陣を担当し、校長ジェーンの娘のラウラとフローラが、予約·管理·社交プログラム等の日々の運営を行い、皆様にエディンバラを知っていただくためのお手伝いをしています。
Laura is often your first point of contact for enquiries and bookings. Jane takes care of academic management. Flora runs the social programme and helps with administration.

当校のアプローチ
当校の学習と教育は、英国内外で外国語としての英語教育に長いキャリアを持つ校長ジェーン・マッキンレイが指導しています。ジェーンは、少人数制のグループこそが効果的に英語を学ぶ鍵であり、グループ内の生徒一人ひとりに十分な練習とコミュニケーションの機会を提供できると考えています。少人数のグループに加え、教室外での日々の練習も欠かせません。ジェーンは、毎朝のコーヒーブレイクで、他の生徒や先生と英語を話す機会を増やしています。
また、教室の外でも生徒同士がおしゃべりできるように、地元のバーやレストランでの交流会を主催しています。

Mission Statement
ECS Scotland focuses very much on the individual needs of adult clients learning English. We know individual attention is the key to successful language learning.
Our goal is to provide our clients’ with the tools to improve their speaking and listening skills in English and gain confidence in using the language.
The school is small, with a friendly and supportive atmosphere and there is a strict policy on class size which does not allow more than five clients in a class at any time. This means every client has as much opportunity as possible to communicate and express themselves effectively in spoken English.
