Course Profile: OET Combination
OET courses combine working in a small group to develop general speaking and listening communication fluency. Reflecting real world and workplace multi-level communication scenarios, learn how to communicate effectively across different cultures and differing levels of English. Maximum 5 students per group.
Please note the speaking and listening group is a multi-level class for B1 to C1 participants. We believe this reflects real world multi-level communication scenarios our clients face on a regular basis.
What to expect in the general English speaking & listening group:
- Practise your conversation and communication skills, including; turn-taking, interaction patterns, listening habits and small talk
- Carry out discussion, problem-solving, and presentation tasks
- Discuss a wide range of topics relevant to contemporary life and society
The one-to-one classes focus on Occupational English Test (OET) Preparation for your specific exam.
What to expect in the OET 1-to-1:

develop your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills within healthcare scenarios that are relevant for the OET and wider medical setting

do exam practise using approved test materials and supplementary Medical English materials for specific reading, writing, listening and speaking activities

receive corrective feedback to help you recognise and improve your all round language skills

develop strategies and pick up test-taking tips

be given preparation and consolidation tasks to be completed outside class

have your questions answered and work on your own requests

OET course
Course Profile: Individual or private group
Individual Tuition (1-to-1) classes focus on specific, individual needs for preparation of the OET exam. You can also choose to spend some time on developing your general Medical English vocabulary and communication skills. You can choose exactly what areas of English you want to focus on during the whole course.
Private mini groups are available for 2 to 5 students with a similar level of English. You can study with your colleagues, friends or family.
