As Scotland and Edinburgh begin to wake up from enforced hibernation, it is uplifting to read the words of two Scottish writers and remember how beautiful a country and city we have.

“The country is delightful, more cannot be said; it is very beautiful, a perfect joy when we get a blink of sun to see it in”
wrote Robert Lewis Stevenson in 1881. More than a hundred years later, the novelist Alexander McCall Smith mused on Edinburgh thus,
“This is a city of shifting light, of changing skies, of sudden vistas. A city so beautiful it breaks the heart again and and again.”
Who would not want to visit these beautiful views!
ECS Scotland has been providing English language training for 25 years and although we had anticipated celebrating our anniversary together with our clients and teachers, events have overtaken us.
Nevertheless, ECS Scotland is planning to reopen for face-to-face classes on Monday 3rd August. In light of the pandemic, we have taken the opportunity to restructure our courses and focus on our strength of providing high quality and relevant English language training to professional adults.
We will be focusing even more on tailoring each course to each and every client. This means concentrating on specialised one-to-one classes and how to communicate successfully across cultures.
